All BDS tests have impressive empirically established reliability and validity. They are available in English and Spanish. And all BDS tests are HIPAA (Federal Regulation 45 C.F.R. 064.501) compliant and American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) compatible. It is also noteworthy that each of these tests has a buit-in Truthfulness Scale that identifies denial and measures problem minimization as well as attempts to "fake good." Truthfulness Scales measure the clients truthfulness while being tested.
